Project 3: Predicting stress sensitivity of laying hens by identifying genetic, incubation and rearing factors

About Ismalia: After obtaining a Scholarship from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), with the cooperation of the Cameroonian Government, Ismalia Bouba received his BSc in Computer Science and Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology, Bangladesh in 2014.  In the first half of the year 2015, he worked for an IT Consultancy Company in Cameroon based on a six months contract. During this period, he completed two projects on Infrastructure Optimisation of a logistics company Transimex, and Network Configuration of FMC Technology Branch, which were supervised by OpenAfriki and FMC Technology Engineers in France respectively. 
Following this role Ismalia worked as a part time lecturer at a private university institute for the academic year 2015/2016, where he taught computer programming, Database Administration and System Analysis and Design in the HND (Higher National Diploma) program.
After obtaining a Scholarship from the Chinese Scholarship Council with the cooperation of the Cameroonian Government, he received his MSc in Computer Science and Technology from Dalian University of Technology, China in 2019 during which he published an SCI paper titled: Predicting miRNA-lncRNA Interactions and Recognizing their Regulatory Roles in Stress Response of Plants, under the supervision of Prof. Meng Jun. His master’s thesis focused on: Analysis and prediction of lncRNA-gene Regulatory Relationships. He has just started his doctoral research with the ChickenStress European Network.
