Project Supervisors

Tim Boswell

Tim Boswell is a Senior Lecturer at Newcastle University. He obtained BSc and PhD degrees in Zoology at the University of Bristol before moving on to postdoctoral positions at the University of Washington, Seattle and the Roslin Institute, Edinburgh, Scotland. His research has focused primarily on the neuroendocrine regulation of food intake in both wild birds and poultry at the cellular and molecular level. His more recent research has extended to mechanisms of stress regulation in the avian brain.

Tim is involved with Project 2: Connections and stress-related activity of different neuron subpopulations of the central extended amygdala.
